Travel Vaccinations
Travel Medicine
For those of you travelling abroad, we provide a comprehensive Travel Health Service. This includes advice on travel health issues, all vaccinations including yellow fever vaccination and malaria prevention. A list of the vaccines provided and their cost is available at the desk. Please make an appointment with the doctor to discuss your destination(s) and planned itinerary , your departure date and for general travel health advice. Travel vaccinations will then have to be ordered for you as appropriate and can be administered by the practice nurse at a later date. Please allow adequate time prior to travel to facilitate ordering of vaccinations and bear in mind that some vaccines require more than one dose given at an interval.
A personalised record of vaccines received is issued at the vaccination administration visit. Check out the following website (www.cdc.gov/travel/) for up to date travel information on general health issues and Vaccinations.
